Nesta has developed an online tool that shows people how they can change the settings on their combi boiler, to reduce the temperature of the water at the boiler without reducing the temperature in your rooms. This brings potential savings of approximately £100 per year. This campaign has already led to £22 million in energy bill savings across the UK, and has saved 34 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Carers UK offers free resources to those who are caring for someone unpaid, and provides a guide outlining the rights carers have, and an overview of the practical and financial support available.
