The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on pharmacies has published a powerful report which highlights how pharmacists can-and want to-do more to support the NHS. This can be by providing vaccines, treating minor illnesses, or carrying out more independent prescribing.
I am keen to see pharmacists given more opportunities to reduce the pressure on local GP surgeries, and so help to cut covid backlogs. I know there are pharmacy groups that would like to set up locally and I'll be doing all I can to ensure the people of Aylesbury have better access to community pharmacies.
