It was great to meet volunteers and staff from St John Ambulance today in the House of Commons.
Their help at vaccination hubs delivering the lifesaving vaccine, looking after more vulnerable patients, crewing ambulances, and assisting at Stoke Mandeville Hospital has helped us tackle Covid in Aylesbury and across Buckinghamshire.
Having met some local volunteers virtually in February, I was delighted to have the opportunity to chat face to face with a wide range of those who have played their part in giving a million hours of pandemic service.
