Good to see the progress of construction of Nightingale's Rainbow at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. It will be a vivid and poignant celebration of community spirit in Buckinghamshire during Covid - whether shown on the frontline in the NHS, by key workers, or by volunteers helping their neighbours.
Tiling starts next week and individual tiles can be sponsored for £20 via https://bit.ly/2WO37Tc. All the money raised will be shared between Florence Nightingale Hospice and Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust charity. Sponsoring a tile is a brilliant way for local people to participate in this unique commemoration of our community’s efforts and achievements during Covid. My thanks to the local firms and organisations who have paid for the structure of the rainbow.
