I was extremely impressed by the finalists for Aylesbury Vale Young Enterprise Company of Year, who showcased their products at Aylesbury Vale Academy this evening. Their ideas ranged from growable greetings cards to a linguistics card game, from vintage style tote bags to storage from recycled food cans. Young Enterprise gives students great insight into what it's really like to run a firm. It was good to hear how motivated many of the entrants are for a business career, where they can play their part creating jobs and generating the wealth that enables economic growth for the benefit of us all
