Good to meet the anti-fraud team from TSB in Parliament today, to hear about the work they're doing to crack down on scams. I was shocked to hear that 80% of their most common fraud cases - investment, impersonation, and purchase fraud - appear online on social media companies owned by Meta. It's vital the tech industry plays its part to stop fraudsters, protect consumers and offer compensation. I'll be raising this with the PM's anti-fraud champion.
