Aylesbury has some excellent local businesses that have grown to become leaders in their industries. LundHalsey is a great example. Since its establishment in 1983, the company has grown to become the largest console manufacturer in the UK, designing and producing furniture, equipment and layouts for control rooms in industries including aviation, broadcasting and security.
I had a fascinating visit to the firm’s factory in Aylesbury today to see this work first-hand and talk to staff. It was good to hear about the company’s tremendous success all around the world, with exports now accounting for 90% of its sales. Buckinghamshire Business First
