It was a pleasure to meet the residents and staff at Abbeyfield House in Wendover this morning. The property provides independent living in sheltered housing for older people, with meals included and comfortable shared areas for having a chat, playing games and watching TV.
I enjoyed discussing many local & national topics from GP appointments and pharmacies to bus routes and HS2 as well as learning more about The Abbeyfield Society. Thank you for the delicious fruit cake!
