#AutismAcceptanceWeek has just ended, but Discover Bucks Museum continues to increase understanding of autism in partnership with Hannah Ellams from Inspiring Places. Children can decorate a piece of a giant jigsaw with sensory and glittery items. The Community Gallery also has a self-portrait art exhibition by members of the expressive arts group of local charity Talkback UK.
Over the Easter holidays, the museum is hosting plenty of activities for all ages, including the Amazing Brain exhibit. It was good to meet the Museum's CEO Sam Mason and learn about exciting plans for the rest of 2023. I was also pleased to hear about support for the museum from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport over recent months.
