Farming is important to the Buckinghamshire economy, so I was pleased to meet Mark from Drovers Hill Farm near Saunderton and Ben from National Farmers Union.
We discussed the challenges to livestock farming resulting from high energy prices and the ways Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) supports farm businesses.
It was good to hear about the farm's success producing organic meat and their commitment to the environment by planting 5km of hedgerows. I was Delighted to hear about the growing demand for its cider and apple juice, which can be bought everywhere from local markets to Fortnum & Mason.
