Sterling Thermal Technology does fascinating work designing and manufacturing bespoke industrial heat exchangers. They’re used in many different sectors of the economy, including power generation, renewable energy, defence and transport. More than 50% of its production is exported to companies around the world.
It was good to visit the firm’s factory in Aylesbury this morning to see this work first-hand and talk to staff. The company is absolutely focused on contributing to the path to net zero, with many of its products now being used in hydro, wind, geothermal, wave / tidal and nuclear power.
