Aylesbury MP Rob Butler has praised the determination of local business leaders building back better after Covid, following a visit to Aylesbury-based firm, Print Lab.
Rob said: “The Conservative government has spent more than £350 billion to help companies through the pandemic, and it’s been great to visit some of the many local firms who benefited from this support.
“Print Lab is a great example. Founded by Ian Goodchild in his mum’s garage on Bedgrove in 2012, it’s now about to expand to new premises for the second time. Having produced PPE during the pandemic, the focus is now back on school uniforms and I’m pleased to see they’re going from strength to strength.
“Bucks is home to more micro-businesses than any other county in the country, and on my visits to other local firms including Freya Jones Arts and Craft and the Aylesbury Lock & Key Centre, I have been struck by the energy and determination of local entrepreneurs who have overcome the challenges of the pandemic and are building back from the crisis with government support.
“I am determined to support local businesses inside and outside Parliament because successful companies and a thriving local economy help make Aylesbury an even better place to live, work, visit and invest.”
