Aylesbury may be one of the most inland towns in England, but it still has a thriving unit of The Sea Cadets, who meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Aylesbury's "Training Ship Broadsword" to see some of drills & activities – including “Kim’s Game” which I remember from my own childhood! Chatting to some of the Sea Cadets underlined to me the great opportunities on offer to develop skills & build confidence while having fun & making new friends.
