Wonderful community garden at St Peter's Aylesbury in Quarrendon, with lovely vegetables (including courgettes used to make delicious houmous). Impressive commitment to sustainability: pathways are made of recycled carpet tiles. Popular with all ages, there's even a fairy garden for children.
The weekly community cafe in the church is very popular with people on the estate, who were full of praise for the volunteers there. There's also a foodbank to support those struggling with the cost of living, and advice on how to get help with other problems.
