The Association of Convenience Stores has published its 2023 Rural Shop Report, which underlines the crucial role that convenience stores play. As I heard in the House of Commons, independent retailers are often part of the fabric of small villages, providing vital services, employing local people, and helping the community. Buckinghamshire owes much to our local shops, and they deserve our support.
