Lots of coronation celebrations taking place locally today. It was good to visit several of them, starting in Aston Clinton, which received funding help from the National Lottery. There were excellent activities & stalls to appeal to all ages, including the scouts, St Michael's church, and a display of vintage vehicles.
Wendover's CoronationBigLunch picnic on The Witchell was hugely popular with residents. It was interesting to hear about the local Men in Sheds project, and I was very pleased to support local scouts who are fundraising to attend the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea.
Finally, I popped along to Stoke Mandeville where the scouts were again out in force! It was good to catch up with the Village Society, too.
Congratulations and thanks to all three Parish Councils for orgainsing such superb events in honour of Their Majesties' coronation weekend.
