The Ukraine Recovery Conference taking place now in London focuses on the reconstruction of Ukraine after Putin is defeated and the Russians leave. Several Ukrainian MPs came to the House of Commons today to discuss the future of democracy, the role of international finance, and ways of strengthening relations between MPs in both countries. I was incredibly touched by the gratitude of the Ukrainian MPs I met for the assistance they have received from the UK - both in supplying weapons and training for their forces, and offering homes for women and children who have had to move away from Ukraine. For however long it takes, we stand with Ukraine.
