Link roads are essential for Aylesbury's future, so I'm working hard with Department for Transport & Buckinghamshire Council to drive progress. Today I joined Council Cabinet member for Transport Steve Broadbent and members of the construction team to view the works that have just started on a new roundabout on the Wendover Road. It was really excellent to see construction underway on this key part of SEALR, which will ultimately help to reduce traffic congestion. Earlier this week I had another meeting with the Roads Minister and his officials to make sure everything possible is being done by the Government to get Aylesbury's traffic moving, and this will remain a key priority for my work in the months ahead.
