Sadly, RAF Halton is due to close in 2027. Plans are well underway for a new housing development on the site. Today, I met Buckinghamshire Council cabinet member for planning Peter Strachan to highlight the need for adequate roads, schools and health centres.
To often in the past local residents have suffered when new developments have been built. That can't happen again.
I know residents have strong views, and I've previously spoken to Halton Parish Council about the plans. A consultation is now open on the proposals, so please take the time to have a look and share your opinions. You can find the consultation page here.
