Many thanks to Dr Dent and Practice Manager Paula at Aylesbury's Poplar Grove surgery for updating me on the current picture for local GPs and their teams. I was impressed to hear about their "navigator" scheme that means more patients get faster access to a doctor - whether by phone or in person.
There are still many challenges for primary care providers, and I'll be raising the concerns raised with me about funding, workload and staffing with ministers from the Department of Health and Social Care.
