It was fantastic to hear that Pharmacy First is off to a flying start in Aylesbury. At Jardines in Bedgrove many local people are already consulting their pharmacists about common conditions, including earache, sinusitis and shingles. I’m very pleased that GPS surgeries are working closely with pharmacists so that patients get the right treatment in the right place at the right time. This is helping to free up appointments with local doctors and will help to tackle NHS waiting lists, all thanks to substantial additional investment in our health service from this Conservative Government.
