I enjoyed meeting residents and staff at the new Chartwell Manor care home, part of Maria Mallaband Care Group. There were very warm compliments from visiting families about the facilities and service. Lots of activities are on offer too, including crafting and cocktail-mixing!
There was also plenty of festive spirit at Avondale Care Home, part of Porthaven. It was lovely to chat to some of the ladies having Christmas treats in the bistro. Many thanks to the dedicated staff across the care sector who do such important work, particularly at this special time.
