I enjoyed meeting residents and staff at the new Chartwell Manor care home, part of Maria Mallaband Care Group. There were very warm compliments from visiting families about the facilities and service. Lots of activities are on offer too, including crafting and cocktail-mixing!

This afternoon in the House of Commons I was delighted to be able to highlight the excellent work of local pharmacists, whether in community pharmacies or GP surgeries.
Over the past couple of months, many local people have contacted me with concerns about seeing their family doctor, despite most other aspects of our lives returning to normal. In particular, numerous residents have found it difficult to get a face-to-face appointment with their GP.
