This afternoon in the House of Commons I was delighted to be able to highlight the excellent work of local pharmacists, whether in community pharmacies or GP surgeries. I was particularly glad to pay tribute to Hughenden Valley pharmacy for its role in the vaccination programme, and to the pharmacy team at Meadowcroft Surgery in Aylesbury. Pharmacists are increasingly important in advising, helping and treating patients. I asked the DHSC Minister Maria Caulfield about their contribution to our health care.
